You may have heard about perpetual motion machines–devices that could theoretically run forever once started, but have you heard about the God Machine? In 1853, a group of Spiritualists claim that they received plans from the “Other Side” on how to build a machine that would literally come to life and become the New Messiah. Jeff Belanger and Ray Auger check out the story and try to figure out what this machine looked like, and ask the big question: did it work?
